Por el fin de la política de bar y de burlas
En España nos hemos acostumbrado a que se gobierne desde un restaurante, desde el amiguismo y sin discurso; a burlas, a insultos.
Desde la Red Equo Joven, creemos en la política del debate, del entendimiento y del sentarse a hablar, porque esa es la definición de la política. Por eso, en cuanto se planteó la moción de censura, no nos cabía otra opción más que apoyarla.
España vive un momento complejo y convulso, pero no hay que olvidar que lo que nos ha llevado a él ha sido la falta de diálogo, la falta de hacer política.
La nueva etapa que se abre con la salida del PP de Mariano Rajoy, que ha tolerado 389 casos de corrupción con 6.322 implicados y por valor de 122.000 millones de euros, es abrumadora y será complicada, pero también es ilusionante. ¿Qué hay más esperanzador que fuerzas políticas tan dispares unidas con el último fin de devolver a la dignidad a nuestro país?
En los últimos años la derecha española, liderada por el PP y Ciudadanos, se ha valido del miedo al diferente para fraccionar a la ciudadanía única y exclusivamente para su rédito político. Pero no lo vamos a permitir. Somos un país plural en el que somos capaces de convivir con nuestras diferencias, como hemos venido haciendo.
Queremos que 2018 acabe como el año en el que el feminismo y el ecologismo volvieron a estar en el centro de las políticas, en el que la gente y nuestro entorno volvieron a ser protagonistas. Queremos olvidarnos del inmovilismo de este Gobierno saliente que sólo en 2017, vetó más de 45 proposiciones de ley, la mayor proporción de la historia.
El futuro presidente Pedro Sánchez ha prometido un nuevo ejecutivo con sensibilidad de género y medioambiental y desde la Red Equo Joven nos alegramos profundamente de esta declaración de intenciones, que esperamos no se queden en el aire y podamos decir al fin que nuestro país se encamina hacia la senda de una sociedad más igualitaria y sostenible.
Queremos que 2018 cierre con la derogación del “impuesto al sol”, con el fomento del autoconsumo, con una Ley de Cambio Climático y otra de Memoria Histórica, que se paralice la LOMCE, se derogue la Ley Mordaza y que se cumpla lo presupuestado para el Pacto Estatal Contra la Violencia de Género. Queremos un país diferente, verde, feminista, progresista y democrático, no queremos volver a las burlas ni a las reuniones de puros en reservados oscuros, es momento de cambio.
For the end of politicking
In Spain we have become accustomed to being governed from cronyism and without speech; to mocking, to insults.
At Red Equo Joven, we believe in the politics of debate, of understanding and sitting down to talk, because that is the truly definition of politics. Therefore, as soon as the motion of censure was raised, we had no choice but to support it.
Spain is experiencing a complex and turbulent moment, but we must not forget that what has led us to it has been the lack of dialogue, the lack of politics.
The new stage that begins with the departure of Mariano Rajoy’s PP, which has tolerated 389 corruption cases involving 6,322 people and worth 122.000 million euros, is overwhelming and will be complicated, but it is also exciting. What could be more hopeful than that of such disparate political forces united in the ultimate goal of restoring dignity to our country?
In recent years the Spanish right, led by the PP and Citizens, has used the fear to the different to divide the citizenship solely and exclusively for their political gain. But we won’t allow it. We are a plural country in which we are able to live with our differences, as we have been doing for years.
We want 2018 to end as the year in which feminism and ecology were once again at the centre of politics, in which people and our environment were once again protagonists. We want to forget the immobility of this outgoing government, which in 2017 alone vetoed more than 45 bills, the largest proportion in history.
The future president Pedro Sánchez has promised a new executive with gender and environmental sensitivity and we at Red Equo Joven are very pleased with this declaration of intentions, which we hope will not remain in the air so we could finally say that our country is on its way towards a more egalitarian and sustainable society.
We want 2018 to close with the repeal of the «sun tax», with the promotion of self-consumption, with a Climate Change Law and a Historical Memory Law; the standstill of the Education Law (LOMCE) and the “Gag Rule”; the budget for the State Pact against Gender Violence be complied with. We want a different country, green, feminist, progressive and democratic, we don’t want to go back to the mocking and the meetings with big cigars in dark private rooms, it’s time for change.
